How to request deletion of personal data held by the World Alpagut Federation.
The World Alpagut Federation is the international governing body of alpagut. This page explains how to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, including anything reaching us through our applications connected to Facebook, Instagram and Threads.
WHAT WE HOLD
For athletes, coaches, referees and officials we hold the registration details submitted by national federations: name, date of birth, country, club, grade and competition results. For people who write to us we hold the message and the address it came from. Our publishing tool posts the federation's own news to the federation's own accounts — it does not collect data about other users of those networks.
HOW TO REQUEST DELETION
Write to office@alpagutfederation.org with the subject line "Data deletion request". Give your full name, your country and, if you are registered as an athlete or official, your licence number. Write from the address you gave us, or ask your national federation to confirm the request on your behalf.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
We confirm receipt within seven days and complete the deletion within thirty days. When it is done we write to you and say what was removed.
WHAT STAYS
Results that have already been published remain in the sporting record. Rankings, medal tables and championship protocols cannot be rewritten after the event without falsifying it. Where the law requires us to keep a document — accounting records, anti-doping files — we keep it for the period the law sets and no longer.
