On the 3rd of November, the TAFISA Assembly for the year 2023 took place. Representatives of the (WAF) participated in this Assembly.
Voting sessions were held, beginning with New National Members of TAFISA and later extending to New International Members. As WAF represented Azerbaijan among the newly joined organizations, it secured unanimous approval for permanent membership by participating in the vote and achieving 100% support, placing it first among the 21 newly joined organizations.
Following this, Farid Alizade
, the leader of the WAF delegation, was invited to the stage, and the official #Membership #Certificate was presented to him.
Subsequently, votes were cast on various projects, with WAF participating in the voting due to its acquired voting rights. Botsvana (Africa) won the bid to host the TAFISA Congress in 2027, and SaudiArabia will host the TAFISA Games in 2028. Additionally, 23 projects were accepted in the voting under various categories.
The Assembly lasted for three hours, and in the end, Farid Alizade and the TAFISA President met again, parting ways with positive sentiments. In the evening, a special banquet was organized for the guests.
Today, the opening ceremony of the TAFISA Congress will take place. In the morning, all guests will return to their respective countries.
