The World Alpagut Federation (abbreviated WAF) is a non-profit and non-governmental international sports organization established in 2014 to promote the Alpagut martial art and manage Alpagut clubs and federations in other countries.
Founding date
In 2014, the World Alpagut Federation was founded on the initiative of Vasif Namazov, the founder of Alpagut Martial Art. The Federation was officially registered on February 12, 2014 and started its activities.
Recognition
- On June 18, 2023 The World Alpagut Federation has been registered on official International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI) organization.
- On May 17, 2022, it was admitted to the membership of International Council of Sports Sciences and Physical Education (ICSSPE) .
- On December 7, 2022, it was admitted to the membership of The Association For International Sport for All (TAFISA).
- On March 10, 2023, he was admitted to the membership of the International Martial Arts Games Committee (IMGC).
- On May 10, 2023, was admitted to the membership of the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) .
- On November 25, 2023, it was accepted as a member of the International Sports Network Organization (ISNO).
Activity
Since its establishment in 2014, the World Alpagut Federation has held presentations, international seminars, international tournaments, World Cups and World Championships in various countries.

Spreading to the world
At present, national federations, official and temporary representative offices in the name of Alpagut are operating in more than 50 countries under the license of the World Alpagut Federation.
