Register with the World Alpagut Federation. Individuals hold one AID identity with their credentials attached to it; clubs and national federations register as organisations.
Open to any individual. Everyone registered with the Federation holds an AID; a volunteer registers free of charge and receives one on the spot. What the fee buys is the role credential attached to it — the athlete, coach or referee standing — issued on approval.
The Federation recognises six representation statuses (Statutes Article 4.2). A status is applied for and conferred by WAF; the annual fee attaches to the status once it is held, and paying it does not confer it. One National Representative is recognised per country, and one member organisation per country (Article 4.3). A Korgan academy is not a member organisation and that limit does not apply to it.
Official Organisation — Status 3.5 — annual fee USD 250. Advancement from Status 3.4 to Status 3.5 takes place through the Compliance Audit Framework: a Compliance Dossier evidencing each requirement of Article 5 of the Statutes, a documentary and operational review, a decision by the Executive Committee, and ratification by the General Assembly. Founding National Representative — Status 3.6 — no annual fee — is conferred for life on the representative whose country founds its own federation. Neither is applied for here.
The annual fee is payable at the point of registration. Where an application is not accepted, the fee is refunded in full (WAF Digital Registration and Membership Procedure, Article 6.1).
