How an organisation joins the World Alpagut Federation
This page is for organisations — a national federation, an Alpagut section inside an
existing federation, or an Alpagut academy. If you are joining as a person — athlete, coach,
referee, official — use the individual registration instead.
The Federation admits one member organisation per country (Statutes Article 4.3). That limit applies to member organisations; a Korgan academy is not one.
The pathway for a national federation
STARTING POINT
National Representative
Status 3.2 · USD 100 / year
One person holds the country mandate and builds the sport there. The federation
route begins from this point: the federation is established and registered under the law of its own
country, and the National Representative applies to WAF on its behalf.
FIRST ADMISSION
Provisional Organisation Representative
Status 3.4 · USD 200 / year
The national federation is admitted conditionally and receives the Provisional
Organisation Certificate (C2). Until it becomes an Official Organisation, it casts its country's vote at the General Assembly.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
Official Organisation
Status 3.5 · USD 250 / year
Full member of the Federation, holding the vote of its country in the General
Assembly and the Official Organisation Certificate (C3). Reviewed by the Executive Committee every four years (Compliance Audit Framework, Article 10.1).
Advancement from Provisional to Official is not applied for here. It takes place through the
Compliance Audit Framework: a Compliance Dossier and documentary review, an operational
review, then the decision — taken by the Executive Committee and ratified by the
General Assembly (Compliance Audit Framework, Articles 3.2 and 7.1). The application may be
made after at least one year as a Provisional Organisation and no later than
two years — three where an extension is granted. A federation
that does not advance within that period loses its provisional status and waits six months before
applying again.

Status 3.4
Provisional Organisation Representative
USD 200 / year
- Who it is for
- A national Alpagut federation, established and registered in its own country.
- What is needed
- The country already has a National Representative, and the federation can produce its
registration papers, statutes and governing body. WAF will send you Form C1 to complete.
Status 3.3
Affiliated Section Organisation
USD 150 / year in total
- Who it is for
- A country where national law does not permit an independent Alpagut federation to
register. Alpagut is then run as a section inside an existing recognised sport federation.
- What is needed
- An existing National Representative, and a host federation willing to sign a tripartite
agreement with WAF. The fee is USD 50 in addition to the USD 100 National Representative fee.
Korgan
Alpagut Academy
USD 50 / year
- Who it is for
- A school or club teaching Alpagut to WAF standards — a Korgan. Any number may exist in
a country.
- What is needed
- A place to train, a qualified instructor, and this application. A Korgan is first
chartered provisionally and is recognised once it is running.
Apply
Every application on this page is made on the organisation registration form, with the
route already selected. The annual fee is payable there, at the point of registration; where
WAF does not accept the application, the fee is refunded in full.
The organisation fee is the organisation's own. Only the Affiliated
Section is an add-on to a National Representative's fee — USD 50 on top of that
person's USD 100, USD 150 in total. A Provisional Organisation Representative pays USD 200
and an Official Organisation USD 250, each as a single annual fee of the body itself; the
National Representative of the country continues to pay their own annual fee separately, for
their own status (WAF Financial Regulations, Article 14.3).
